Coming SoonCelebrate the Year of the Horse with the San Gabriel Valley Symphony at the Lunar New Year Festival Concert 2026, conducted by Music Director Henry Shin. The concert serves as the grand finale to the Lantern Rite Festival organized by Iris Interactive, a large-scale fan event featuring vendors, cosplayers, activities, and immersive experiences. The evening’s program includes Ching-Shan Chang, Rising Light (Kevin Charoensri, professional orchestral world premiere), and the immersive Genshin Impact music from the Lantern Rite Festival, and Festival Stampede (Richard McGuire) as the encore, presented in partnership with the City of San Gabriel.
Located in the heart of San Gabriel's historic Mission District, the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse is a beautifully preserved Spanish-style theater that has been a cornerstone of the community since 1927.

Adjacent Lot: The parking lot next to the Playhouse offers 178 spaces. Parking is free on non-event days and costs $15 during performances .

To ensure a smooth experience, it's advisable to arrive at least 60 minutes before your event. This allows ample time for parking, locating your seat, and exploring the historic venue. Latecomers will be seated during an appropriate pause in the performance, at the discretion of the house staff.
