Richarc McGuire is a Los Angeles-based composer for film, television, and video games. Originally from Arizona, Rick earned his Master of Music in Screen Scoring from the University of Southern California and his undergraduate degree in film scoring from NYU. His music can be heard on History Channel series such as Ancient Aliens and The UnXplained, and his creative range extends into ambient and meditative music under the artist name “At Dusk,” signed with the label Platoon (Billie Eilish, Rex Orange County). His tracks have been featured on numerous Apple Music playlists, including Sleep Sounds, Ambient Chill, and Pure Meditation.

Rick began his musical journey as a percussionist, performing with ensembles like the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra and Dark Sky Percussion. His passion for storytelling through music was sparked by a James Horner interview about Avatar, setting him on the path to scoring films, games, and beyond. Today, he continues to work as a freelance composer, blending cinematic emotion with immersive soundscapes.
