Located in the heart of Monterey Park, the Barnes Park Amphitheater—originally known as the Memorial Bowl—was constructed between 1946 and 1947 under the guidance of the Monterey Park Lions Club. Dedicated in 1947, it has served as a longstanding cultural and civic gathering space for the San Gabriel Valley.
The amphitheater underwent major renovations in the 1990s, modernizing the structure while preserving its role as a hub for community events. Situated within the 11-acre Barnes Park, the venue includes a broad stage, audience seating, nearby picnic areas, and access to park amenities.
We are grateful for the partnership with the City of Monterey Park for allowing us to present this performance and bring live orchestral music to the heart of the community
