Music maker, sound explorer, and storyteller, Owen Nathanael is a multifaceted composer, educator, and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He is known for his ability to seamlessly blend his interest in technology with his artistic vision. His work is expansive, ranging from award-winning films and chart-topping podcasts to fun-to-play games, immersive books, musical theater, and sample libraries.
Owen’s accolades include the Berklee World Tour Scholarship, the Michael Rendish Award, and the 48 Hour Film Project Best Music Award (NYC). Beyond his scoring work, he is also actively involved in performing and producing music for various artists and organizations. His passion for communication and the transformative power of teaching has led him to create free educational music content, including music breakdowns, score videos, and tutorials.
Storytelling remains a core focus, and his combined musical expertise and filmmaking skills in directing, producing, and editing allow him to create everything from music videos and marketing materials to documentaries and narrative stories. Deeply involved in humanitarian activities since his early teens, Owen focuses on uplifting the voices of his community and beliefs through his work.
