Principal Harp
Born and raised in Southern California, Sarah began playing the harp at the age of eleven. She graduated from the University of Southern California, where she studied with JoAnn Turovsky for her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance and was a member of the USC Symphony Orchestra and Student Symphony Orchestra of USC. In the past few years, Sarah has performed with the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra (at the Walt Disney Concert Hall!) as well as with the American Youth Symphony, LA Symphonic Winds, Orchestra Nova of Los Angeles, and Loyola Law School Symphony. Besides classical work, she plays in many events (weddings, parties, corporate, etc.), music videos, and live shows. Lately, she has been exploring different genres with the harp, including recording and performing with various pop and jazz artists in the area!

The San Gabriel Valley Symphony, a program of Arts Bridging The Gap, exists to educate and inspire new audiences through the performing arts. Through world-class performances, collaboration with community stakeholders, and authentic storytelling, we connect audiences to live performance as a pillar of community celebration rooted in the San Gabriel Valley and beyond.
