
Pauline Yi is a seasoned violinist and teacher based in Los Angeles with over 20 years of professional experience. Her diverse performance credits include the Grammys with the Foo Fighters, and collaborations with artists like David Foster, Katharine McPhee, and John Paul Jones. She has performed in ensembles with top Korean and other international artists such as Lee Moonsae, Jay Park, SISTAR, K.Will, DJ DOC, and Leila Forouhar. Notably, Yi stepped in as Principal of the second violin section for the Korean National Military Symphony during their Southern California tour, featuring artists such as Lee Junki and Park Hyoshin. She has appeared at iconic venues including the Hollywood Bowl, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and has performed under the baton of composers like John Williams, Michel Legrand, and David Newman. She also performs regularly with the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra and Los Angeles Sinfonietta. In her spare time she enjoys training for half marathons, gym time, nature walks, reading, and cooking Korean food.
