Mark Miller is the Interim Band Director and Low Brass Applied Faculty at Cal State San Bernardino. Mark was the Bass Trombonist for the San Luis Obispo Symphony and has performed with orchestras all over California, including the San Diego Symphony, Fresno Philharmonic, Monterey Symphony, and the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra. He earned his Doctorate in Bass Trombone Performance from the University of Southern California in2013 and has been on Faculty at CSUSB since 2019. He also has an MM in Trombone Performance from USC and a BA in Music from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Dr. Miller, a Southern California native, is in demand as a teacher and clinician across California. Additionally, Mark is the Trombone Instructor at Pasadena City College where he also served as Assistant Band Director in 2015 and 2017. He was the conductor of the Symphonic Band at Cal State Los Angeles in 2019 and 2017.Mark is also the preeminent orchestra librarian in the Inland Empire. He is the librarian for the San Bernardino Symphony, Redlands Symphony, and Riverside Philharmonic Orchestras.
