Josiah Timbol is a Filipino-American violinist that’s based in Los Angeles, California. He began his musical journey at the age of five through the Suzuki Method before moving into traditional, classical violin training. Over the years, he has performed with ensembles such as the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Claremont Youth Symphony Orchestra. Outside of his early orchestral work, he showcased his talents at charitable and community events for organizations, namely the Knights of Columbus, Kayamanan Ng Lahi, and care facilities serving the elderly and developmentally disabled. He has also shared the stage as a front act alongside renowned Filipino artists, including Zsa Zsa Padilla, Nina Girado, and Joey Generoso. Currently, he is an active member of the St. Dominic Church Choir and the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra, where he continues to bring his passionate musicality to a wide range of performances.
