John Vincent Parin is a classically trained violinist whose blend of technical precision and expressive artistry has made him a sought-after performer across academic and professional stages. A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute—an All-Steinway school renowned for its technologically integrated music and arts curriculum—John majored in Computer and Software Engineering while serving as Concertmaster of the Rensselaer Orchestra from 2014 to 2019. During his tenure, he also performed in a variety of trios and quartets, helping to expand and promote the university’s chamber-music offerings.
Since completing his studies, John has been an active member of the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra and is regularly engaged as a professional gig player for weddings and annual holiday concerts throughout the Orange County and Los Angeles areas. His eclectic chamber experience includes time as a founding member of the video-game quartet “Elite Four,” and his competitive roots date back to multiple solo and ensemble contests during his high-school years in Las Vegas. Passionate about both technical innovation and musical collaboration, John brings versatility and dedication to every performance.
