Jeff Gumpertz (he/him) is Principal Horn of the San Gabriel Valley Symphony and a dedicated music educator based in Orange County, California. He holds a Bachelor of Music from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master of Music from the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. When he’s not performing, Jeff enjoys good coffee, caring for his houseplants, and advocating proudly for LGBTQ+ visibility in the arts.

The San Gabriel Valley Symphony is a professional orchestra created by working musicians and local leaders to reflect and serve the San Gabriel Valley—focusing on community engagement and social impact. Our mission is to show the next generation in the SGV that a career in the arts is not only possible, but capable of creating real change in their communities and beyond.
