
Gloria Choi is a violist based in Los Angeles. Gloria picked up the viola at the age of 13 and started growing her passion as a violist under the guidance of Gina Coletti at the Colburn Community School. She finished her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree, studying under Professor Karen Dreyfus. Gloria actively performs with numerous groups such as AYS, various ensembles at USC, Downey Symphony, and Jacaranda. She has attended music festivals including Bowdoin, Montecito, Spoleto, and Franco-Americaines de Musique de Chambre. She teaches private students and serves as a music coach for the Walnut Valley Unified School District. Additionally, Gloria instructs at the Colburn School’s Chamber Intensive every summer.

The San Gabriel Valley Symphony, a program of Arts Bridging The Gap, exists to educate and inspire new audiences through the performing arts. Through world-class performances, collaboration with community stakeholders, and authentic storytelling, we connect audiences to live performance as a pillar of community celebration rooted in the San Gabriel Valley and beyond.
