Danny began playing the cello at the age of four at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. While growing up, Danny was fortunate to travel all around the world with his cello including Alaska, Spain, Scotland, and Austria. Graduating with High Distinction from the Eastman School of Music in May of 2024 having studied with Guy Johnston, Danny recently began his Master’s in Music at USC Thornton, continuing his studies with Andrew Shulman. Since moving to Los Angeles, Danny has been a rotating principal cellist of the USC Symphony Orchestra, principal cellist of the California Young Artist Symphony, and became a founding member of Quartet Aido, a newly formed string quartet based in LA. Danny has also performed in master classes at USC for Ralph Kirshbaum and Eugene Drucker. Besides cello, Danny spends as much time as he can outside with his dog and enjoys playing golf.
