Brian has been playing both violin and piano since childhood, accumulating significant experience performing in youth orchestras and competing in music competitions at local, regional, national, and international levels on both instruments. Many of his orchestral compositions have been premiered in concert, often with him conducting.
Brian holds B.S. degrees in Human Biology and Society, with a minor in Science Education, from UCLA. He continues to make music as a member of the UCLA Symphony, various chamber groups, and the LLS Orchestra. Aspiring to become a physician, Brian looks forward to bringing his love for music into his future medical practice. Outside of music and academics, he enjoys building model kits and exploring new restaurants with friends.
