Ani Sinanyan was born into a family of musicians. A talented, promising, young violinist, she began taking violin lessons at the age of 6. As a prizewinner of many competitions, Ani was a finalist of the Youth Talent Festival in 2010, where she was given the honor to perform in the Carnegie Weill Recital Hall in New York City. During her time as Associate Principal 2nd Violin in the American Youth Symphony, Ani recorded and performed with many well-known composers and artists, including Sarah Chang, David Newman, Kris Bowers, and many more, in celebrated venues such as Walt Disney Concert Hall, Royce Hall, and the Newman Scoring Stage at Fox Studios. In 2022, Ani received her Bachelor’s degree at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music where she studied with Movses Pogossian and Varty Manouelian, and she recently concluded her Master’s degree program at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Ilya Kaler & Olga Dubossarskaya Kaler. In 2023, Ani debuted as concertmaster of the Cleveland Women’s Orchestra in Severance Hall. While upholding her skills as a classical violinist, Ani has also joined her parents’ musical duo, forming their contemporary ensemble, Trio SynThesis. The group made their global performance debut in the summer of 2022 in the Union of Architects in Yerevan, Armenia. Continuing her involvement in prominent music festivals, Ani is now touring internationally as a solo violinist for the Piano Fantasy concert series.
