Yes. Through our side-by-side program, talented and gifted students from San Gabriel Valley public schools rehearse and perform onstage with our ensemble. We also provide free tickets every concert to local students and families, ensuring broad access to the arts.

The San Gabriel Valley Symphony is a professional orchestra founded in January 2025 and officially launched on May 19, 2025. We are a special initiative under Arts Bridging The Gap, a 501(c)(3) social impact organization. Our mission centers on community engagement, education, and civic purpose, with a focus on building a more inclusive and representative future for orchestral music.

We are not just a concert organization—we are a social impact orchestra. Our mission is to redefine what a symphony orchestra looks like, sounds like, and stands for, far beyond the walls of a concert hall. We exist to empower the next generation and uplift communities through music that matters.

Our ensemble is made up of dedicated arts advocates and working musicians who believe music should serve people. Many are also educators, mentors, and organizers committed to using their craft to create meaningful change in the SGV.
