Grant Steller is a Los Angeles based composer, producer, and songwriter who specializes in crafting lively scores and arrangements spanning an eclectic variety of genres and mediums. At a young age, he has garnered significant international acclaim and recognition for his work. When he was 18 years old, Grant began writing music for one of the world’s most played video games – Honor of Kings, making him the youngest composer to ever contribute to a AAA game. At 19, he produced a roaring big-band arrangement for renowned Chinese Vocaloid Luo Tianyi’s concert in Shanghai, performed to a crowd of 40,000. Later that year, actor Jacob Tremblay (Luca, Wonder, The Little Mermaid) entrusted him to score his short film Paralysis. Most recently, prolific pop artist Jude York enlisted Grant to produce his cover of Slipping Through my Fingers that would receive millions of streams, many noting its orchestral interludes. In December 2024, Grant finished scoring his debut feature film, Sisters, directed by Nina Wu. Beyond this, he has scored dozens of short films and video games, several of which received awards for best original score. Notably, his work with independent directors such as Elijah Anthony and Jesse Foy. As a songwriter, Grant has written songs for voice actors including Caleb Hyles and Annapatsu and contributes original songs to the sensational musical channel Pixel Playhouse. Embracing his place in a new generation of composers, Grant’s career is deeply intertwined with technology and social media. His unique social media content has attracted an audience of over 70,000 followers, leading to praise of his music by notable artists such as Laufey, Noah Floersch, Cody Fry and Odetari. He also manages an online community of over 1,300 composers and producers, regularly organizing events with industry veterans including composer Nathan Johnson (Knives Out) and Grammy-nominated songwriter Cody Fry. Currently, Grant is scoring the upcoming short film ATTAGIRL, directed by Emmy-winning director Chris Klimovski. He is also working with director Angelo Vissier, scoring the film Every Living Breathing Moment, starring Kolton Stewart.
