Alec Sievern is a Los Angeles-based composer whose work spans both media and the classical stage. In 2023, he was named Best Young Composer at the World Soundtrack Awards in Ghent, Belgium.

Sievern is widely recognized for his award-winning contributions to hit series such as Bridgerton, Queen Charlotte, and Marvel’s Secret Invasion. As a solo artist, his piano compositions, most notably Prelude No. 1, have garnered hundreds of thousands of listens across digital platforms. This prelude serves as the introduction to his forthcoming collection, Six Preludes for Solo Piano.

Originally trained in mathematics at the University of Notre Dame, Sievern later earned his Masters in Screen Scoring from the University of Southern California, where he received the ASCAP Foundation’s Betty Rose Award — given to an outstanding composer in residence. Drawing from centuries of musical tradition, Sievern’s compositions inhabit a distinctly beautiful musical palette, a sonorous world both unique and timeless.
